A coplanar mounting kit for fitting solar panels on tiled roofs in landscape orientation. Adjustable stainless steel hooks lock under the tile and onto the batten without drilling, and the kit includes 1.2m aluminium rails with mid and end clamps and all fixing hardware per module. Order for anywhere from 1 to 10 modules.

How it fits together

The installer lifts the tile, positions the hook over the batten, and lowers the tile back into place. The hook protrudes through the gap between tiles, and the rail clips onto it with a rail clamp. Because the rails come in 1.2m sections with connectors, rows of any length can be built up on site without cutting.

Applications

Installation notes

Fitting should be carried out by a qualified solar installer. Hooks must be fixed to sound, load-bearing battens, and the hook profile should be checked against the specific tile type before starting. Do not use where battens are undersized or deteriorated.
