This RGB LED strip kit gives you a full 5 metre roll of colour changing tape, built at 12 watts per metre and running on 24Vdc for indoor use. It uses SMD5050 LEDs, 300 in total across the roll, and comes complete with a power supply, connectors and a remote control.

Applications

Designed for indoor use in homes, this strip suits ambient lighting in living rooms, kitchens or feature walls. The 24V system allows a single power supply to run a long continuous piece of strip, up to 30 metres, with lower current draw and less voltage drop than a 12V equivalent.

Cutting and joining

The strip can be cut every 8 LEDs along the marked cutting lines using sharp scissors. Cutting off the marked line breaks the electrical conductivity. Solderless cable and strip connectors are supplied for linking multiple strips together.

Installation notes

No special tools or wiring are needed. The adhesive backing needs a clean, smooth surface to bond properly. The strip tolerates any bending radius.
