The REGO DC-DC Battery Charger features a built-in Bluetooth module, allowing you to monitor charging status via the Renogy DC Home App on your smartphone. With the battery type selector set to USER MODE, you can customize the Boost Voltage, Float Voltage, and Boost Duration. If your system’s maximum charge voltage is below 60A, simply adjust the charging current in USER MODE for optimal performance.
Temperature Resistant Design Maximizes Battery Lifespan
The REGO DC-DC Battery Charger is built to perform in extreme temperatures. Equipped with a temperature sensor, it provides -3mV/°C/2V compensation to protect your battery from both high and low temperatures, ensuring stable and consistent charging. It seems that this battery charger doesn't have a screen to display data, then how should I check the data and its working status?
The REGO DC-DC Battery Charger with the built-in Bluetooth module allows you to monitor the charging status through Renogy DC Home App by cellphone. You will be able to get the data on the voltage of the starter battery and house battery, the charging current of the battery charger, the reverse charging current, etc.
Can I customize the charging current or BOOST voltage?
Yes, customization settings will be available. You may turn the knob on the battery charger to USER Selection and get connected to the Renogy DC Home App to enter the custom setting mode, in which you can set matching charging current or BOOST voltage according to the characteristics of your batteries.
What are the requirements for the selected generator in two-way charging?
With its exclusive two-way charging design, two REGO battery chargers can be connected in parallel to draw energy simultaneously from the starter battery and a 12V DC generator, charging the same house battery. This dual energy source setup provides extremely stable power with faster charging times, adapting to a wider range of usage scenarios. To ensure optimal performance, it is recommended that the input power supply current be 1.5 times that of the charger. For a 60A battery charger, the generator's current should be at least 90A.
