The Voltacon BESS is a plug and play off grid power cabinet built around an 11kW single phase inverter and integrated Pylontech lithium battery storage. Housed inside an IP65 waterproof industrial cabinet, it brings together the inverter, batteries, a manual changeover switch and Solar Assistant online monitoring in one enclosure, cutting down on wiring and site errors compared with assembling separate components.

Installation

With the inverter, batteries, switchgear and monitoring already integrated, the installer connects the solar PV input, AC load supply and any backup source as required by the design. This keeps site work to a minimum and gives a tidy, professional cabinet finish rather than a rack of separate parts.

Battery chemistry

The Pylontech US5000C battery bank uses Lithium Iron Phosphate (LFP) chemistry, supported by the batteries' own BMS protection.

Suited to off grid homes, remote properties, farm buildings, workshops, holiday homes and backup power installations, as well as technical rooms supplying essential services loads.
