This GAVE Electro DC surge protection device gives 2-pole overvoltage protection for solar PV strings rated up to 550VDC. It fits in parallel with the DC string cables, sitting between panels and inverter to intercept lightning strikes and induced surges before they reach sensitive equipment. The unit mounts to a DIN rail, making it a straightforward addition to an existing combiner box or distribution panel.

Applications

Installation notes
