Description
The VOLTALED Polar Full Moon is a 15 watt LED outdoor fitting built for walls and ceilings. Inside the circular bulkhead sits an LED 2D gear tray fitted with a 4-pin 12w lamp, housed in a fire-proof toughened plastic lens.
Key features of this wall light outdoor fitting
- Housing, high-grade aluminium case that also acts as a heatsink, drawing heat away from the LED driver and chips.
- Lens, fire-proof toughened plastic for outdoor durability.
- Lamp, LED 2D gear tray with a 4-pin 12w lamp.
- Lifespan, rated for 50,000 hours of service.
- Replaceable board, the LED board can be swapped out if it fails, rather than replacing the whole fitting.
Customisation options
This fitting can be ordered with extra functions built in. A microwave sensor with an integrated photocell can be added, which helps cut energy use by only lighting the space when it is needed. An emergency pack with a Ni-Cd battery, compliant with BS EN 61347, is also available as an option.
Applications
Suitable for outdoor mounting on walls or ceilings, the Polar Full Moon works well as an outdoor sensor light for entrances, walkways and other areas where a bulkhead fitting is needed.
