Product overview

Full galvanic isolation means the input, from the starter battery or alternator circuit, shares no electrical connection with the output, the service or auxiliary battery. This matters in marine and vehicle builds where ground loops cause corrosion or interference, and it lets the unit work across battery banks with separate negative rails.

All configuration runs through VictronConnect over Bluetooth. Charge voltage, absorption time, float voltage and tail current are all adjustable, which makes the charger suitable for flooded and AGM lead-acid batteries as well as LiFePO4 packs used with a suitable BMS. The remote on/off terminal lets you disable the charger when the engine is off, stopping the starter battery discharging through the converter. It runs without a fan, relying on its aluminium housing for passive cooling, and can be mounted in any orientation.

Installation notes

Fit by a qualified electrician or marine electrical engineer familiar with DC systems, with correct cable sizing and fusing on both input and output sides. For lithium installs, wire the remote on/off terminal to the BMS load disconnect output to stop charging outside safe voltage limits. Marine installs should follow NMEA and flag-state wiring standards where applicable.
