How it works

A high-frequency transformer inside the unit maintains a stable output voltage while keeping the circuits isolated. Because source and load voltages are nominally identical here, the Orion-Tr 48/48-2,5A is not acting as a voltage regulator in the usual sense. Its job is power transfer with isolation as the primary function, covering auxiliary loads such as control systems, communications equipment and instrumentation.
