Description
A complete 24kWh flooded OPzS lead acid battery bank built from 24x 2V 520Ah Hoppecke tubular plate cells wired in series to form a 48v lead acid battery system. OPzS technology is built for deep discharge photovoltaic cycling and carries a 25-year design life. The bank arrives filled with acid and ready for commissioning.

Applications
Suited to large off-grid solar PV energy storage on homes, farms and commercial sites where a 48V bank of individual OPzS cells is preferred over a sealed lithium pack.
Installation and safety notes
Flooded lead acid batteries release hydrogen gas while charging, so the battery room needs ventilation. Installation and commissioning must be carried out by a qualified electrician. Electrolyte levels should be checked regularly, following Hoppecke's guidance.
