The Omikron is a circular outdoor wall light from Ledison, built from light grey die-cast aluminium rather than plastic. It draws 15W and outputs 1500lm at 4000K, with an IP65 rating that suits garden and exterior wall use.

Build and materials

The housing is aluminium die-cast, part of Ledison's exterior lighting range that also includes the Aris, Polar, Pulsar, Pluto and Artika fittings. Aluminium alloy is used across the range instead of plastic casing, chosen for its strength, corrosion resistance, protection against electromagnetic and radio interference, and because it can be recycled.

Applications

Suited to exterior walls where a decorative, even wash of light is wanted rather than a harsh spotlight. The circular design measures 300 x 88mm.

Sensor option

A microwave sensor with a day-light photocell can be added for automatic switching and extra energy savings, integrated into the fitting itself.
