The NTC-950-1 is a commercial-style tire changer with a single assist arm that adds support for run-flat and low-profile work, a bead breaker rated at 5,500 lbs of force, and a jet-blast bead-seating system. The NTB-800 balancer reads each wheel to ±1-gram accuracy and turns a cycle in 6 to 9 seconds, so one operator can mount, demount, and balance without leaving the workstation.

On the changer, the turntable clamps wheels from 16" to 28" on the inside and 14" to 26" on the outside, handling wheel widths up to 15" and tire diameters up to 43". The balancer takes wheels from 10" to 28" in diameter, rim widths from 1.5" to 20", and tires up to 44" — a range that covers passenger cars and most light-truck wheels that roll into a general-service shop.

Two details set the NTB-800 apart on the floor. Its wheel brake holds the wheel still while you place the weights, so the reading you balanced to is the reading you keep. And its automatic data entry lets you enter a single parameter instead of three — the balancer captures the other two on its own, which trims setup time on every wheel.

Both machines run on standard 110-volt power, so the combo drops into a shop without a dedicated high-voltage circuit.

Can I buy just the tire changer or just the balancer?
