Description

The Triumph NTC-950-1 is a single-assist-arm tire changer built for shops that run a steady mix of passenger-car and light-truck wheels — including the run-flat and low-profile tires that slow most changers down. The tower-mounted swing arm carries the mount/demount head over the wheel, while the single assist arm presses and holds the bead so a stiff run-flat or short-sidewall tire seats without fighting you.

Clamping covers 16 to 28 inches on the inside and 14 to 26 inches on the outside, with room for wheels up to 15 inches wide and tires up to 43 inches in diameter — enough range for a commercial shop changing almost any passenger and light-truck tire. A 5,500-lb bead breaker takes the stubbornness out of seized beads, and the built-in bead blast seating system delivers a burst of air to pop the bead onto the rim.

The NTC-950-1 runs on a standard 110V outlet with a 1.5 HP motor and shop air up to 120 PSI for the bead blast — no three-phase service or special hookup required. It is also offered as a shop package paired with the Triumph NTB-550 wheel balancer or the NTB-800 wheel balancer when you are building out a tire bay from scratch.

Warranty

Triumph backs the NTC-950-1 with a 1-year parts warranty (parts only, no labor). If something fails, you call MGS, we troubleshoot the problem over the phone, and we ship the needed part free of charge with free ground shipping. Labor to install the replacement part is not covered.

The parts warranty does not cover wear and consumable items: the plastic protective pads and tooling on the clamps, mount/demount heads, bead breaker, and assist arm, or the single-tire inflation hose, lube brush, and bucket.

How does it ship, and who unloads it?

It ships crated on an LTL freight carrier with liftgate service, so the driver lowers it to the ground at the back of the truck. The driver does not move it into your shop or assemble it. You schedule the delivery appointment directly with the freight carrier, or you can have it held at the carrier's nearest terminal for pickup with a trailer or moving van.
