The Victron MultiPlus-II 48/8000/110-100 combines a pure sine wave inverter and a multi-stage battery charger in one unit, rated for 8000VA continuous output from a 48V DC battery bank. Built-in components include a 110A charger and a 100A AC transfer switch, giving the flexibility of a full power inverter charger for off-grid, backup and hybrid solar systems.

Power inverter charger features

• Continuous output, 8000VA / 8000W, with a 16000W peak surge rating for motor starting and demanding loads.
• Battery charging, 110A adaptive four-stage charger (bulk, absorption, float, storage), suitable for lead-acid and lithium batteries.

Parallel and three-phase operation

Up to six MultiPlus-II units can be connected in parallel or configured for three-phase supply using VE.Bus cabling, with no extra hardware required beyond the units themselves. Charge and discharge parameters, along with the programmable relay, are set through VEConfigure software.

Applications

The 48/8000/110-100 suits off-grid residential and commercial solar installations that need high continuous output, and hybrid systems with grid or generator backup where PowerAssist manages a limited AC input.
