The Victron MultiPlus Compact 12/2000/80-30 combines a pure sine wave inverter and a battery charger in one compact housing, built for 12V battery systems. It supplies 2000VA of continuous inverter output at 230V AC, 50Hz, alongside an 80A charger for keeping the battery bank topped up. It is aimed at installers working on boats, vehicles and off-grid buildings where space and weight matter.

Installation notes

Fitting should be carried out by a qualified electrician or accredited installer familiar with 12V DC systems and 230V AC wiring. The unit needs a correctly rated 12V battery bank with suitable DC cabling and fusing. VE.Bus setup requires the MK3-USB interface and VEConfigure software. Grid or generator connected installations should meet UK wiring regulations and, where relevant, G98 or G99 requirements. Do not fit in an enclosed, unventilated space.
