The MPPT WireBox-L MC4 is a wiring enclosure for Victron SmartSolar and BlueSolar MPPT charge controllers in the 150/70 and 250/70 VE.Can range. It clips over the connection area on the underside of the controller, keeping the battery, load and solar terminals covered and the cable runs tidy.

Choosing the right variant

This box is specific to MC4-terminated PV input cables, avoiding the need for ferrules or bare-wire terminations at the PV side. The MC4 and standard WireBox versions are not interchangeable, so match it to your controller model and cable type before ordering.

Installation notes

Fit the WireBox after all wiring connections to the charge controller have been made and checked, with the system de-energised. Installation should be carried out by a qualified electrician or competent person familiar with DC solar systems, and grid-connected systems should meet G98 or G99 requirements as applicable.
