Bypass diodes reduce the impact of partial shading from roof vents, aerials or rigging, helping the panel keep producing power even when part of it is obscured.

A triple-layer EVA back sheet and sealed junction box protect against moisture and UV in outdoor and marine settings. The panel works with standard 12V MPPT and PWM solar charge controllers for off-grid battery charging.
