The Web Server II is a Modbus 5Vdc communication box built to read and pass data between hybrid inverters running the Modbus protocol. It sits at the centre of a multi-inverter installation, gathering information so the system can balance power flow and battery charging across the whole array.

Modbus energy meter data collection

In setups with two, three or more hybrid inverters wired in parallel, the Web Server II pulls data from each unit and feeds it back through the Modbus link. This lets the installation coordinate power output and battery charging between inverters rather than each one operating in isolation.
