Continuous and Peak Current

The 120A continuous-discharge rating applies to sustained loads. The 200A figure is a short-duration pulse limit of up to five seconds. Match the inverter and appliances to the continuous rating while checking their start-up surge, efficiency losses and the battery’s voltage under load.

High-current systems require correctly sized cable, secure terminations, suitable isolation and over-current protection close to the battery.

Charging and Temperature

Use LiFePO4-compatible charging equipment within the listed 60A maximum continuous charge current and 14.6V charge cut-off voltage. Charging is specified from 0°C to 45°C.

Do not charge outside the manufacturer’s permitted temperature range. BMS protection is a safeguard, not a substitute for correct charger settings or installation.

Series Configuration

The manufacturer lists support for up to four identical batteries in series. No parallel limit is stated in the supplied specifications, so obtain current manufacturer confirmation before planning a parallel bank. Use matching batteries of the same model, age and state of charge.

Compare the DC MONT 135Ah battery, Giantz 200Ah battery, or the full LiFePO4 battery range.

Frequently Asked Questions

Can this battery run an air conditioner or kettle?

Only when the specific appliance’s continuous demand and start-up surge remain within the battery, BMS, inverter, cable and fuse ratings. Appliance categories alone do not confirm compatibility.

How much energy does 175Ah provide?

At 12.8V, nominal energy is approximately 2,240Wh. Actual usable energy and runtime depend on the load, temperature, wiring and system efficiency.
