These pre-assembled AC bus branch cables let you wire multiple Voltacon VMI500 and VMI600 micro inverters together on a shared single phase AC bus. Configurations run from 1 inverter up to 8, each cable factory-made with SINBON connectors and fixed lengths, so there is no on-site crimping or connector assembly to get wrong.

Product overview

In a multi micro inverter installation, each inverter's AC output is daisy-chained into a shared AC bus before it reaches the consumer unit. These factory cables remove the need for any on-site wiring work at the connector stage, which cuts install time and takes out a common source of wiring errors. Choose the number of inverters in your system at checkout and you get the matching cable configuration.

A 5m UK plug extension cable, sold separately, connects the last inverter in the chain to a standard 230VAC wall socket to complete the run.

Applications

Used for parallel AC bus wiring on Voltacon VMI micro inverter installations, including rooftop, facade and balcony solar micro inverter systems.

Installation and safety notes

These cables carry mains AC voltage. Installation must be carried out by a qualified electrician, in line with IET Wiring Regulations and G98 requirements for UK grid-connected micro inverter systems. Do not exceed the rated current for the number of inverters connected in the AC bus chain.
