Product overview
MEGA-fuses are used to protect main battery cables in inverter, charger and battery management installations. A 175A rating sits between the more common 150A and 200A options, useful where cable sizing or equipment ratings need a tighter protection threshold. The 80V DC rating gives margin over standard lead-acid and lithium voltages up to 48V nominal.
Fit the fuse in a MEGA fuseholder that accepts the standard blade body and secures it with bolt terminals. Fuse selection should be based on cable cross-section, ambient temperature and the continuous current draw of the connected equipment: the fuse protects the cable, not just the load.
