Product overview

MC4 and MC3 connectors do not mate directly, which becomes a problem when a newer panel needs to connect to an older MC3-based controller, or when an existing MC3 system is being extended with MC4 equipment. This cable bridges that gap without re-terminating either end.

The MC4 female end takes a standard MC4 male plug from a panel or extension cable. The MC3 male end plugs straight into an MC3 female socket on the receiving equipment. Its short length suits use at the connection point between a panel lead and a controller input, or inside a combiner box where space is tight.
