The Victron Lynx Smart BMS 500 NG (M10) is a battery management system built for Victron Lithium Smart batteries in 12V, 24V and 48V systems. It bolts straight into the Lynx distribution busbar, bringing cell balancing, protection and system control together in a single unit for off-grid, marine and vehicle installations that need centralised lithium management.

Installation notes

Installation must be carried out by a qualified electrician experienced with lithium battery systems and Victron equipment. High DC currents at battery voltage carry a real risk of arc flash and fire if connections are made incorrectly. VE.Can termination resistors need to be set correctly when this unit joins other VE.Can devices on the network. The BMS is intended for Victron Lithium Smart batteries only, compatibility with third-party lithium cells isn't confirmed.
