The Lynx Smart BMS 1000 (M10) is a battery management system built for Victron Lithium Smart batteries in 12V, 24V and 48V systems. It bolts directly into the Lynx DC distribution bus, giving centralised cell protection, system control and real-time monitoring for off-grid, marine and vehicle installations.

Fits the Lynx distribution platform

This BMS is designed to slot into a Lynx busbar assembly rather than sit as a standalone box, keeping high-current wiring compact. It is compatible with the Lynx Distributor and Lynx Power In modules, so a system can grow from a single battery bank to a larger, modular DC distribution setup.

System coordination over VE.Can

Communicating over VE.Can lets the BMS coordinate with MultiPlus and Quattro inverter/chargers, SmartSolar MPPT controllers, and Cerbo GX or Venus GX devices. Charge current can be reduced ahead of a disconnect event, or non-critical loads shed before a low-voltage cutoff, reducing stress on the battery.

Installation notes

This unit must be fitted by a qualified electrician experienced with high-current DC lithium systems. M10 cable lugs are required on all busbar connections, torqued to the manufacturer's specification. It is not suitable for lead-acid chemistries.
