The Ledison T8 LED Tube measures 150cm (1514mm) and runs at 30W, producing 3600 lumens of light. It's a direct replacement for 56W fluorescent tubes and fits into existing fittings without extra wiring in most cases.

Installation

Remove the old starter and fit the LED starter supplied with the tube. If your fixture has an electronic ballast, wire the tube directly to mains voltage and bypass or remove the ballast. Some double-ended fittings need a quick rewire, since this tube runs on a single-ended power connection. Installation instructions and a warranty certificate are included.

Build and light quality

The LED chips sit on a printed circuit board with thermal vias that draw heat away from the diodes, and an anodised aluminium housing keeps operating temperatures down. Frosted covers spread light evenly along the tube rather than concentrating it at each LED point, as clear covers tend to do.
