Construction

The heatsink is cast from a magnesium alloy with large fins to help dissipate heat, and the IP65 rating is supported by the alloy body. The surface finish uses electrophoresis and TGIC powder paint, giving a non-corrosive fitting suitable for coastal and salty environments.

Optic lens

Each high-power LED chip carries its own micro magnify toughened glass lens for controlled light distribution. This helps remove shadows and dark patches between fittings, which matters on motorways and larger car parks.

Installation

Four mounting kits are available, covering square poles, round poles, wall mounting and direct fitting onto poles up to 70mm in diameter, so one fitting suits most street lighting layouts.

Certification and warranty

The Atlas carries CE, UL and RoHS compliance, with a 5 year warranty and an average lifetime of 80,000 hours.
