A trailing edge (AC triac) dimmer switch from the Varilight V-PRO range, fitted with a push-on/push-off rotary control and 2-way switching. It is built for mains lighting, dimmable transformers and dimmable LED fittings, with no minimum load required.

The faceplate measures 85x85x47mm with a faceplate depth of 11mm and fixing centres of 60.3mm. Product weight is 160g. A recommended back box depth of 25mm is needed for installation, and the terminal (live) diameter is 3.2mm with a capacity of 3 x 1.5mm².

Applications

Suited to standard mains lighting circuits and most dimmable electronic transformers, this switch also works with dimmable low-energy lighting, including many dimmable LEDs. It gives installers a rotary dimming option with a physical on/off push action rather than touch or remote control.
