Description
The Ledison Glacial is a 35W LED downlight built around a high lumen chip on board (CoB) from CITIZEN LED (Japan), giving an efficacy of 111lm/watt. It sits alongside a 15W version in the same range, with the LED driver rated at 96% efficiency and wired directly to 220-240Vac mains, with a 110-120Vac option available for the American market.

Applications
Suited to corridors, foyers, lobbies and shops, and designed to fit standard suspended and false ceilings. With average use of 8 hours a day the rated life span covers around 15-17 years without needing to swap bulbs, and running costs drop by up to 80% against the fittings it replaces. It works well as a direct replacement for downlights that previously used compact fluorescent lamps such as PLG24.
Installation
No maintenance is required once fitted. A DC power plug design simplifies the wiring at installation.
