This slim LED batten light is a direct replacement for 6ft fluorescent T8 tubes, built into a slimline 180cm aluminium housing. Rated at 35W, it produces 4375lm and can be linked to other units to form continuous runs of light.

Design and construction

The LED board sits on a heat sink plate for heat dissipation, and the end cap has a 20mm knockout for wiring. A flat end profile allows end-to-end linking for long continuous lighting lines, and the fitting weighs 1295g. An advanced dimmable version is also available, switchable between 1-10V and AC-Triac dimming.

Applications

Suited to supermarkets, offices, corridors and warehouses where long runs of even light are needed. It is designed as a like-for-like swap for 6ft T8 fluorescent battens, whether surface mounted or suspended.

Electrical specification

Runs from AC90-277V at 50/60Hz, with an operating voltage of DC36-42V. Total harmonic distortion is below 10% and power factor is above 0.95. Operating temperature range is -15°C to +50°C, with storage from -25°C to +55°C. Rated for 100,000 switching cycles before failure.
