1. Will this fit the SLA/AGM deep cycle battery?
This battery box fits Group 24-31 batteries, which include both lead-acid (SLA, AGM, GEL, and FLD) and lithium batteries. The internal dimension of the battery box is 13.8 x 7.1 x 10.4 in (350 x 180 x 265 mm). You can measure the length, width, and height of your battery, and then check it against the size of the battery box.
2. Why are there vent holes in the lid?
Some batteries, such as Flooded batteries, will release hydrogen gas during operation. The vent holes in the lid can ensure full-flow ventilation of hydrogen gas, and then provide safe discharging performance.
3. Can I hook the leads to the battery while it is in the box?
Yes, you can. There are cable routing points built into the cover.
