The Ledison GU10 LED bulb pairs a Fresnel lens with a 6 Watt LED engine to give a soft-edged, wide beam rather than the harsh circle typical of standard reflector lenses. The lens itself is a series of concentric grooves rather than a curved surface, which is what spreads the light without losing intensity.

Heat is the main enemy of any LED, so the bulb is encapsulated in an aluminium heat sink to draw heat away from the diodes and support a long service life. It uses the standard GU10 twist-lock fitting and shares the same dimensions as a halogen GU10, so it drops straight into existing fixtures without any adaptor.
