The Ledison Calipso is a 7W fire rated LED downlight finished with a gold bezel, giving a warmer and more decorative look than a standard white fitting. It is fire rated to 30, 60 and 90 minutes and IP65 rated from the front, so it can be used in bathrooms and other humid indoor spaces.

Fire rated downlight with selectable colour temperature

A 3 CCT switch lets you choose between warm white 2700K, natural white and neutral white 4000K, so one fitting suits bedrooms, hallways, kitchens and bathrooms without changing units. It dims smoothly from the mains when connected to a compatible LED dimmer switch, giving stable light with reduced flicker.

Installation and construction

The Calipso uses push in loop-in and loop-out terminals housed in polycarbonate, with a 65mm cut out and 80mm overall height that suits tight ceiling voids. It is suitable for lofts and ceiling voids with insulation when installed correctly, and runs from AC 85V to 265V.

Applications

Suited to bathrooms, kitchens, hallways, bedrooms, living rooms, reception rooms and hotel or commercial interiors where a gold finish is wanted alongside fire safety and IP65 protection at the front of the fitting. It carries a 5 year warranty.
