The Victron GlobalLink 520 is a cellular monitoring device that links Victron installations to the VRM Online Portal over a 2G/3G/4G mobile network. It needs no local internet connection and no GX device, making it a practical option for off-grid, marine and remote sites where fixed broadband isn't available.

Suited to off-grid cabins, lodges and holiday properties without fixed broadband, marine and narrowboat installations, agricultural and rural sites running solar and battery backup, telecoms cabinets on Victron backup power, and vehicle-based power systems away from a fixed network.

Installation notes

Connection to compatible Victron devices is via standard VE.Direct cables, sold separately. Fitting should be carried out by a qualified electrician or an installer familiar with Victron systems, and the antenna needs adequate cellular signal at the site before commissioning. Data transmission depends on an active cellular signal, so coverage in very weak signal areas cannot be guaranteed. No G98 or G99 grid connection compliance applies to this monitoring accessory.
