Description
The PLG24 is a G24 LED light bulb with a 2-pin base, built as a direct swap for older compact fluorescent PL lamps. It draws 6W and outputs 600lm, giving offices, corridors and commercial interiors a lower energy alternative to CFL tubes without changing the existing fitting.
G24 LED light bulb features
- Base, G24 2-pin, rotates a full 360 degrees for aiming the light where it is needed
- Colour rendering, CRI >80 for accurate colour appearance
- Housing, aluminium body acting as a heatsink for the LED chips
- Cover, frosted lens for softer, more even light spread
- Pin compatibility, 2-pin bases fit both 2-pin and 4-pin PL lamp holders
Applications
Suited to fittings using GX24Q-1, GX24Q-2, GX24Q-3, GX24Q-4, GX24D-1, GX24D-2, GX24D-3 and GX24D-4 lamp holders. It is a practical retrofit for commercial and domestic luminaires still running fluorescent PL lamps.
Emergency lighting option
The PLG24 is also compatible with an emergency conversion pack that meets the British Standard for emergency lighting. The kit contains a PLG24 Emergency PL lamp, an LED driver with a lithium battery and LED indicators for diagnostics.
Certification
Voltacon LED lamps comply with the Low Voltage Directive 2014/35/EU. All PL lamps in this range are supplied with a frosted cover as standard rather than a clear one.
