Where it works well

Build and construction

Inside the aluminium base sits an LED driver that steps mains voltage down to 36V dc for the LED chips. The housing is built to work across domestic and commercial settings and is compact enough to fit fittings designed around a standard candle bulb shape.

Dimmer compatibility means it can be used on existing circuits already wired for dimming, provided the dimmer itself is rated for LED loads.
