- Dura-Gold Pro Series 5" x 10 mm (3/8") Soft Density Interface Pad with a 8 Hole Pattern, Pack of 2. A high-performance, durable hook & loop foam sponge surface protection cushion pad that interfaces between sander sanding discs or polisher buffing and polishing pads and the tools backing plate pads. It has a 12,000 rpm/opm maximum operation speed that allows quick and effective sanding and polishing.
- The8 hole vacuum pattern on the interface padallows dust extraction and minimizes sandpaper loading during sanding when it is used along with 8 hole pattern sandpaper discs and a 8 hole pattern 5" backing plate. It keeps the sanding surface clean, maximizes sanding disc performance, and prolongs disc abrasive life.
- The interface pad also reduces tool vibration and the soft density foam cushions and conforms to contours for precision sanding and polishing across uneven surfaces. It also allows you to work closer to edges while minimizing the risk of burn-through.
