Product overview

Hoppecke's AGM technology is optimised for deep cycle operation. The sealed design removes electrolyte maintenance and avoids the ventilation requirements that come with flooded lead-acid batteries, so installation in enclosed spaces is straightforward. Each battery bloc measures 242 x 170 x 275mm and the pack of four weighs 32kg. Over 95% of the components are recyclable.

Applications

These batteries suit off-grid solar PV energy storage, motorhome, caravan and boat battery banks, backup power for homes and small commercial premises, and industrial standby or cyclic duties. Installation, wiring, fusing and connection to an inverter or charge controller should be carried out by a qualified electrician, with correct polarity maintained when connecting in series or parallel and batteries kept within the manufacturer's recommended temperature range.
