The PV-Guard-1000 is a Type 2 DC surge protection device for solar panel and inverter circuits, rated to 1000VDC with an Imax of 40kA. It is built around a high energy varistor and complies with IEC/EN 61643-31, making it suitable for combiner boxes and other PV enclosures.
