How it works

The relay continuously monitors battery terminal voltage. When voltage drops to the low-voltage disconnect threshold, it opens and isolates connected loads from the battery, preventing discharge beyond safe limits. This matters most on lithium chemistries, where over-discharge can cause permanent cell damage or trigger a battery management system shutdown.

Unlike a fuse or manual isolator, the Cyrix-Li-load reacts automatically to battery state. Once the battery recovers, the relay closes again and restores power to the loads, making it suited to unattended installations such as remote cabins, liveaboard vessels or vehicle auxiliary systems.
