Straight bars are extraordinarily versatile fitness tools and can be used to perform a wide variety of concentric, eccentric, and isometric motions.
Attach your straight-bar attachment to a cable that offers vertical resistance for pronated (palms facing down) and supinated (palms facing up) bicep curls and triceps extensions. Keep the same attachment, but change your seating to perform close-grip cable pulldowns. The straight bar can be attached to cables that offer horizontal resistance for close-grip cable rows and crossovers.
This particular accessory, the CHOP Straight Bar, is more robust than most. Its grip is solid steel, a full 2 inches in diameter, and 6.12 inches in circumference.
