The controller tracks the maximum power point of the connected solar array continuously, adjusting in real time as panel temperature or shading changes rather than operating at a fixed voltage point. Installation notes

Fit by a qualified electrician or experienced solar installer. Keep PV array open-circuit voltage below 100V under all conditions, including cold weather, which raises Voc above the STC-rated figure. Confirm battery voltage before first connection. No G98 or G99 grid notification applies to off-grid systems, but wiring must comply with BS 7671. Use correctly rated DC fusing and cabling between array, controller and battery.
