Most shops that want this much compressed air discover the same obstacle: the machines are three-phase, and their building is not. The 318HLE Elite Series exists for exactly that situation. The air is compressed, cooled, and compressed again, so the pump reaches working pressure without the heat a single-stage design generates doing the same job. Space: this is the horizontal-tank model in the 318 Elite range, meaning it is designed to be long and low rather than tall, which is the layout you want in a building with a low ceiling or a mezzanine over the machine. Whatever the final figures, the compressor needs a level floor that will carry it, clear air around the pump and belt guard, and a clear path from where the truck can stop to where the machine will stand.

Built for the long haul

The tank is ASME rated with a safety valve, and it carries a manual drain. Draining condensate is the one maintenance task that decides how long a tank lives, and the manual valve makes it a deliberate act rather than something you assume is happening. The belt guard is fully enclosed and high-flow, protecting the belt and the operator without trapping heat around the flywheel. Start/stop pressure switch control means the compressor manages its own cycling, and an aftercooler drops the temperature of the discharge air so a useful share of the moisture condenses at the tank instead of downstream at your tools.

For anything moisture-critical — paint, plasma, air-driven electronics — a dryer is still the right answer. BelAire suggests the CPXHT25 alongside this unit; it is not included.

Freight, palletised, to the lower 48 states. Unloading is the customer's job: a forklift, a dock, or a pallet jack on flat hard ground. Where that is not possible, terminal pickup is usually the easier route and we will help you arrange it. Warranty

The listed cover is a 2 Year bumper-to-bumper factory warranty with nothing additional to purchase.
