Made-to-order 95mm² battery parallel cable pair

This matched pair contains two 600mm 95mm² flexible LSZH cable leads. Each lead is professionally crimped with an Exotronic 95mm² M8 bellmouth lug at both ends, providing four tinned-copper M8 terminations in total. Red and black heat shrink identifies the positive and negative leads.

Flexible low-smoke zero-halogen cable

The cable uses a plain annealed Class 5 copper conductor, X-HF-110 insulation and an orange HFS-110-TP outer sheath. Its flexible LSZH construction and 0.6/1kV rating suit correctly designed battery banks, inverters, busbars, solar and energy-storage systems.

Free-air current-carrying capacity

Reference current-carrying capacity: 434A. This is the AS/NZS 3008.1.1:2017 Table 6 value for two single-core flexible copper cables with 110°C X-HF-110 insulation, unenclosed and spaced in free air at 40°C ambient air temperature. The pair rating is not doubled: one lead carries outgoing current and the other carries return current.

Cable selection and installation

Derating and cable selection: This reference value is not a universal circuit rating. Correction and derating factors apply for ambient temperature, grouping or bundling, installation method, enclosure, thermal insulation and other heat sources. Cable selection must also account for voltage drop, run length, termination ratings, overcurrent protection and duty cycle. Have the circuit designed and installed by a suitably qualified person.

Reliable bellmouth terminations

The flared entry on each Exotronic bellmouth lug guides fine cable strands into the barrel without splaying. Fully annealed, electro-tinned copper supports a clean crimp and a corrosion-resistant, low-resistance connection.
