This 13W AR111 LED light fitting replaces traditional 50W and 75W AR111 halogen lamps, using CREE LED chips to produce a warm 3000K light output through a controlled 38-degree beam angle. It runs on a G53 base at 230V.

Applications

The G53 base and AR111 format fit standard recessed and gimbal fittings already used in commercial interiors, so it works as a direct swap where halogen AR111 lamps are being phased out.

Driver options

The lamp is supplied with an external LED driver rather than an integral one. The non-dimmable version comes with a Philips driver, while the AC Triac dimmable version is supplied with a Lifud driver for use with a compatible mains dimming system.

Build and rating

The aluminium housing is IP65 rated against dust and water jets. As a Class III appliance the lamp head runs from the safety extra-low voltage supplied by its external driver, and the LED source carries a Risk Group 0 photobiological safety rating.
