Description
This pre-wired metallic AC combiner box connects a single phase solar inverter to a property's consumer unit, with RCD and MCB protection, a surge protection device, and a built-in energy meter. It suits 1kW, 1.5kW, 3kW and 5kW off-grid and grid-tied solar inverters, and cable glands are included.

Applications
Fitted on the AC output of single phase off-grid solar inverters for protection and metering, and on grid-tied solar inverters where surge and fault protection is needed on the AC connection to the consumer unit.
Installation and safety notes
Installation must be carried out by a qualified electrician in accordance with IET Wiring Regulations BS7671. Earth bonding and cable sizing should be checked before the unit is energised.
