The Conversol Premium VM-II is a 5kW off-grid inverter and solar charger built for 48V lithium and lead-acid battery banks. It combines a pure sine wave inverter with an MPPT solar charge controller, giving a single unit for charging, inverting and managing a residential off-grid or hybrid battery system. It works with Pylontech US2000C, US5000C and active cell balancing lithium batteries.

Product overview

Battery voltage runs at 48VDC, with a floating charge of 54VDC and overcharge protection triggered at 63VDC. Efficiency is 93% in line mode and 90% in battery mode. The selectable input range of 110 to 280VAC covers both utility mains and generator supplies, and the anti-dust filter helps keep cooling reliable where dust is a factor.

Applications

Suited to residential off-grid solar systems and hybrid solar plus battery storage installations. It also serves as backup power for homes and small commercial premises, particularly where the battery bank is Pylontech or another active cell balancing lithium system.

Installation and safety

This inverter must be installed by a qualified electrician or solar installer. DC wiring, fusing, earthing and battery connections need to follow IET Wiring Regulations and the battery manufacturer's guidelines. It is not intended for DIY installation.
