To do this, simply create a hole in the desired location on your water butt, remove the back nut and one washer from the connector, and insert the connector through the hole. The device is then secured by placing the washer and nut on the inside of the barrel and tightening them. This setup ensures that washers are positioned on both the inside and outside of the container, creating a reliable, leak-proof seal.
