Engineered for Efficiency
Charge your batteries fast with up to 94% maximum efficiency rate. The Victron Smart Charger fuses functionality with safety, generating four times less heat compared to other chargers. Easy Tracking & 6-Stage Charge Algorithm
Aside from easy monitoring via Bluetooth, the Victron Smart charger features a 6-stage algorithm: test - bulk – absorption - recondition – float – storage. It also has a microprocessor-controlled ‘adaptive’ battery management, which allows for an optimised charging process in accordance to the way the battery is being used.

Storage Mode
Giving your battery a little break? Make sure it stays in great shape with Victron’s storage mode, which kicks in whenever the battery has not been subjected to discharge during 24 hours. In the storage mode, float voltage is reduced to 2,2V/cell (13,2V for a 12V battery) to minimise gassing and corrosion of the positive plates. Once a week the voltage is raised back to the absorption level to ‘equalise’ the battery. This feature prevents stratification of the electrolyte and sulfation, a major cause of early battery failure.

Night and Low Setting
When in Night or Low mode, the output current is reduced to max. 25% of the nominal output and the charger operates without any noise. The Night mode automatically ends after 8 hours, while the Low mode can be ended manually.

Protected Against Overheating
Overheating is one of the top enemies of a battery. Thanks to Victron’s automatic protection, its output current will reduce as temperature increases up to 50°C, without compromising the performance of the charger itself.

IMPORTANT: While our LiFePO4 batteries are top-notch & can be wired with other batteries of its kind, it is not advisable to connect any LiFePO4 batteries in parallel or series. This poses several risks and should only be done in emergency situations. If you must wire batteries together, make sure you are familiar with the correct procedure or seek help from a professional if needed.

Suggestions From the Outbax Team

• Batteries connected in series should have the same amp-hour rating while batteries in parallel bank should have the same voltage rating.
• As much as possible, only connect batteries in series or parallel during emergency situations.
• It's better to go for batteries with higher voltage when running high-power electrical appliances instead of wiring two battery packs together.
