The Victron Energy Phoenix 48/1200 VE.Direct is a pure sine wave inverter delivering 1200VA of continuous power from a 48V battery bank, with VE.Direct connectivity, ECO mode, and a GFCI-protected 120V Nema 5-15R output for reliable off-grid and mobile power applications.
Key Features:
- Pure Sine Wave Output — Full bridge toroidal transformer topology delivers clean 120VAC pure sine wave power at 50Hz or 60Hz, suitable for sensitive electronics, LED converters, halogen lamps, and electric tools.
- VE.Direct Communication Port — Connects to a computer via VE.Direct to USB cable or to Apple and Android devices via a VE.Direct Bluetooth Smart dongle for full monitoring and configuration.
- ECO Mode — Switches to standby when load drops below a preset minimum (15W), reducing zero-load consumption to as low as 3.0W and waking every 2.5 seconds (adjustable) to check for load.
- Fully Configurable — Adjust low battery alarm, cut-off and restart levels, dynamic load-dependent cut-off, output voltage (210–245V), frequency, and ECO mode settings via VE.Direct.
- Remote On/Off — A remote on/off switch connects to the two-pole connector for convenient system integration and external control.
The Phoenix 48/1200 VE.Direct delivers 1,000W continuous power at 25°C (850W at 40°C) with a 2,200W peak power rating for high start-up loads. Maximum efficiency reaches 92% on the 48V platform — the highest in the Phoenix VE.Direct range — and the unit operates across an input voltage range of 36.8–62.0V DC with adjustable DC low shutdown, restart, and battery charged detection thresholds.
The steel chassis and blue plastic cover (RAL 5012) houses screw terminal DC connections accepting cables up to 25mm²/AWG4, requiring no special tools for installation. The GFCI-protected Nema 5-15R 120V outlet meets UL 458 safety certification for North American applications. Comprehensive protection covers output short circuit, overload, high and low battery voltage, over-temperature, and DC ripple, with fan-assisted cooling across a -40°C to +65°C operating range.
