- IP67 Waterproof Enclosure The cast aluminium casing with resin-moulded electronics is fully protected against water, oil, and dirt.
- Extra-Long 1.8M Cables Pre-attached input and output cables eliminate the need for intermediate connections, improving system reliability.
- Wide Input Voltage Range Accepts 15–40VDC input, ensuring stable 12V output even during voltage surges or sags on the same battery bank.
- Automatic Overload Protection Hiccup mode automatically recovers once the fault condition is removed, preventing permanent damage.
- Overheat Protection Rated for operation in high-temperature environments including engine rooms and machine spaces.
The Orion IP67 24/12-20A delivers a regulated 12V output at up to 20 amps continuous, converting efficiently from a 24V source. With 95% efficiency, minimal energy is lost as heat during conversion.
Short circuit protection is built in, and reverse polarity protection is supported via an external fuse or circuit breaker. The unit operates reliably from -40°C to +70°C, with a 3% derating per degree above 40°C.
Compliance with EN 60950, EN 61000, ECE R10-4, and IEC 68-2-6 vibration standards makes this unit suitable for mobile, marine, and industrial applications requiring certified performance.
