The Victron Energy Orion-Tr 24/12-10 is a compact, non-isolated DC-DC converter delivering 10A of continuous output current at 120W with 97% efficiency via synchronous rectification, for reliable 24V-to-12V power conversion in vehicle, marine, and industrial applications.

- IP43 Protection — Rated IP43 when installed with screw terminals oriented downward, protecting the electronics against dust and angled water ingress in demanding installation locations.
- Screw Terminal DC Connection — No special tools required for installation; accepts cable up to 6mm²/AWG10 for straightforward field wiring.
- High Temperature Protected — Output current automatically derades 3% per °C above 40°C to protect against thermal damage without converter failure, suitable for confined or warm installation spaces.
The Orion-Tr 24/12-10 delivers a fixed 12.5V output at up to 10A continuous and 12A peak, drawing less than 45mA at no load. The unit is non-isolated — input and output share a common ground — making it well suited for applications where galvanic isolation is not required and where cost, size, and efficiency are priorities.
Installation is straightforward with screw terminals accepting up to 6mm²/AWG10 cable, and the compact 73×94×37mm footprint allows mounting in tight spaces. No remote on/off terminal or Bluetooth is included on this model; for battery charging applications, Victron recommends the Orion-Tr Smart series instead.
